Name Meaning

Indicates the MIB object ID of the alarm.

Index Indicates the entity index.
EntityPhysicalIndex Indicates the entity physical index.
PhysicalName Indicates the entity name.
EntityThresholdType Indicates the alarm type.
EntityThresholdValue Indicates the alarm threshold.
EntityThresholdCurrent Indicates the current temperature.

Impact on the System

When temperature exceeds the threshold, boards may be faulty. Board failures will cause service interruption.

Possible Causes

The fan is faulty.


  1. Run the display temperature command to view the current temperature and upper and lower alarm thresholds. Ensure that the upper and lower thresholds are set properly.
  2. Run the display fan command to check whether the fan is operating properly. If not, repair or replace the fan.
