Indicates the MIB object ID of the alarm.

Impact on the System

If this trap is generated, an error occurs in the message queue of the remote device (backup device), so that the backup device fails to process ARP entries backed up from the master device, causing service interruption on the backup device.

Possible Causes

The backup device detected a failure to process remote backup ARP messages, for example, backup messages failed to enter the message queue.


  1. Run the display message-queue command to check information about message queues to see if the ARP message queue is full.

    • If the ARP message queue is full, go to Step 3.
    • If the ARP message queue is not full, go to Step 2.

  2. Run the display arp command to check information about ARP entries to see if the ARP entries on the master and backup devices are consistent.

    • If the ARP entries on the master and backup devices are consistent, go to Step 4.
    • If the ARP entries on the master and backup devices are inconsistent, run the batch-backup service-type arp now command on the master device to back up ARP entries again, in the case services are not affected.

  3. Collect alarm information and configuration information, and then contact technical support personnel.
  4. End.
