Impact on the System

Traffic to be forwarded through the hybrid bonding tunnel is interrupted.

Possible Causes

Cause 1: The source IP address of the tunnel interface on the CPE has been used for tunnel establishment on the router.

Cause 2: The router prohibits the client from creating a tunnel.

Procedure

  1. Check the error code specified by the CreateFailValue field in the trap information, and perform the corresponding action based on the error code.

    • If the error code is 404, the source IP address of the tunnel interface on the CPE has been used for tunnel establishment on the router. Go to Step 2.

    • If the error code is 405, the router prohibits the client from creating a tunnel. Go to Step 3.

  2. Obtain the tunnel interface configurations on the CPE and router, and check whether the same source IP address has been configured using the source command.

    • If the same source IP address has been configured, go to Step 4.

    • If the same source IP address has not been configured, go to Step 6.

  3. Check whether the cin filter deny command has been run on the router to prohibit the client from creating a tunnel.

    • If the cin filter deny command has been run on the router, go to Step 5.

    • If the cin filter deny command has not been run on the router, go to Step 6.

  4. Run the source command in the tunnel interface view on the CPE to change the source IP address. Then check whether the tunnel is successfully established.

    • If the tunnel is successfully established, go to Step 7.

    • If the tunnel fails to be established, go to Step 6.

  5. Run the cin filter permit command on the router to allow the client to create a tunnel. Then check whether the tunnel is successfully established.

    • If the tunnel is successfully established, go to Step 7.

    • If the tunnel fails to be established, go to Step 6.

  6. Collect alarm information and configuration information, and then contact technical support personnel.
  7. End.
