The hard disk usage of the device is high.

Alarm ID Alarm Severity Alarm Type Major equipmentAlarm(5)

Name Meaning

Indicates the MIB object ID of the alarm.

Index Indicates the entity index.
HwEntityPhysicalIndex Indicates the hard disk index.
PhysicalName Indicates the device name of hard disk displayed on the device.
EntityThresholdType Indicates the alarm type. The value 1 indicates a threshold-exceeding alarm, and the value 0 indicates a clear alarm.
EntityThresholdWarning Indicates the alarm threshold for hard disk usage.
EntityThresholdCurrent Indicates the current hard disk usage.
EntityTrapFaultID Indicates an error code.

Impact on the System

A low hard disk capacity may cause the device system to run slowly, affect the running and installation of large programs, result in a failure to store more large files, and even lead to data loss.

Possible Causes

Many files are stored in the hard disk or hard disk capacity is low.

  • Check hard disk usage information recorded in logs to delete unnecessary files.
  • Replace the current hard disk with a high-capacity hard disk.
