Description

PKI/2/PKIBACKRSAHRPFAIL: OID [oid] Backing up RSA key pair backup to the standby device failed. (KeyName=[keyname], KeyBit=[keybit])

The new RSA key pair created on the active device during an automatic certificate update failed to be backed up to the standby device through the Huawei Redundancy Protocol (HRP).

Impact on the System

In the dual-system hot backup deployment, if the RSA key pairs on the active and standby devices are not the same, anomalies might occur in certificate-related services during an active/standby switchover.

Possible Causes

In the dual-system hot backup deployment, the new RSA key pair created on the active device during an automatic certificate update failed to be backed up to the standby device through the HRP.

Procedure

  1. Check whether the two-node hot standby is stable.
  2. If the fault cannot be located, enable debugging of the PKI module to collect debugging information.
