GPS Outdoor Omni-directional Antenna
Connection
A GPS outdoor omni-directional is connected as follows:
- The RF cable (04131955) connects to the GPS port on the device and the N-M port on the protection side of the surge protector.
- The RF cable (04130032) connects to the N-F port on the surge side of the surge protector and the GPS outdoor omni-directional antenna.
For better waterproofing, the outdoor connectors need to be sealed with tape.

Description
Wrap waterproof tape
- When wrapping the tape, ensure that the upper layer covers more than 50% of the next layer of tape.
- Make sure that the side with the adhesive tape is covered over the wrapped tape.
- Evenly stretch the tape to twice the original length. Each layer is tightened and compacted to avoid wrinkles and gaps, ensuring complete adhesion, self-melting, and avoiding looseness.
Wrap insulation tape
- When wrapping the tape, ensure that the upper layer covers more than 50% of the next layer of tape.
- Do not stretch the insulation tape when winding it.
