- |
Port | Connector Type | Description | Available Components |
---|---|---|---|
Console interface | RJ45 | The console interface of a router can connect to an operation terminal for onsite configuration.
USB 2.0 interface | USB 2.0 Type A | A USB interface provides up to 480 Mbit/s upload and download rates.
USB 2.0 standard USB flash drive |
LAN interfaces: four GE electrical interfaces | RJ45 | A GE electrical interface (10/100/1000 Mbit/s auto-sensing) transmits and receives services at 10 Mbit/s, 100 Mbit/s, or 1000 Mbit/s.
NOTE:
GE0 is the management network port on a device. It can implement web-based network management and email-based deployment. All GE LAN interfaces can be configured as WAN interfaces. GE2 and GE3, as electrical interfaces for capacity expansion, are used with corresponding internal cascading interfaces of the AR-10 card as combo interfaces. By default, the combo interfaces work in auto mode. You can run the combo-port command to switch their working modes. A combo electrical interface and the corresponding internal cascading interface are logically exclusive. That is, the combo electrical interface and the corresponding internal cascading interface cannot work at the same time. When one of the interfaces is used, the other interface is automatically disabled. |
LAN interface: GE optical interface | LC/PC | The GE optical interfaces (100/1000 Mbit/s auto-sensing) can work in GE mode and can transmit and receive service traffic at 100 Mbit/s or 1000 Mbit/s.
Optical module The following optical modules are supported: |
