Managing Subnets

After a HUAWEI CLOUD VPC is configured, you can add subnets or delete subnets that are no longer used.


  1. Use a browser to log in to the ManageOne operation plane as a VDC administrator, a VDC operator, or an agent administrator.

  2. In the left part of the main menu, select a region and a project.
  1. Choose Console > Network > Virtual Private Cloud(HWS) from the main menu.
  2. In the HUAWEI CLOUD VPC list, click the name of the desired HUAWEI CLOUD VPC to go to the details page.
  3. On the Subnet tab page, you can create, view, modify, and delete subnets.

    Creating a subnet

    Click Create Subnet. In the displayed dialog box, set the subnet information, such as the network segment and gateway, and click OK, as shown in Figure 6-4.

    Modifying a subnet

    Click Modify to modify the subnet name and DNS information.

    Deleting a subnet
    1. If a HUAWEI CLOUD ECS is bound to the subnet, you need to uninstall the NIC corresponding to the subnet from the ECS. For details, see section Managing NICs.
    2. Click Delete to delete a subnet that is no longer used.

    Viewing information about a subnet

    Click a subnet name. On the displayed subnet details page, view the information about the occupied IP address and the HUAWEI CLOUD ECSs that use the subnet IP address.
