Changing the IP Address of the Customer or Public Network DNS Server

Scenarios

When FusionCloudDeploy (FCD) is installed and deployed, the values of Customer or public network DNS service address 1 and Customer or public network DNS service address 2 in the LLD table are incorrect or the planning is changed. In this case, you need to modify the values.

Prerequisites

  • You have obtained the correct value of Customer or public network DNS service address 1.
  • You have obtained the correct value of Customer or public network DNS service address 2.

Procedure

  1. Enter http://DMK floating IP address:8443 in the address bar of the browser to log in to DMK.

    The default account is udns. The default password is cnp200@HW.

  2. In the navigation pane on the left, choose Deploy Guide.

  3. On the Service Configuration page, click the Services tab and select DNS-Internal.

  4. Configure the following parameters:

    • Select Version: version of the installation package
    • Select Action: Upgrade DNS
    • Select Region: local
    • Host Repository: NO
    • Gray Deployment: NO

  5. Select DNS-Internal for Team and udns for Account.

  6. Modify the parameters in the configuration file.

    Click beside Configuration File. The Configuration File area and the Configuration File Template area are displayed. Change the value of forwarders_ips under tenant_config in the Configuration File area based on the live network conditions, as shown in Figure 11-3.

  7. Check the upgrade status.

    1. In the navigation pane on the left, choose Task Board.
    2. Locate the task and check the status before the task name. If the status changes to , the task is successful.
    3. Click Details in the Operation column to view details about the upgrade task.
