Accessing Resource Pools

Accessing Resource Pools

After ManageOne is installed, operation administrators need to manually access a HUAWEI CLOUD resource pool on ManageOne. Multiple HUAWEI CLOUD accounts can access ManageOne. Information about regions and resource pools is included in an account.

Prerequisites

  • You have obtained the username and password of an operation administrator.
  • You have obtained the endpoint of Identity and Access Management (IAM).

To obtain the IAM endpoint, on the HUAWEI CLOUD website, choose Support > Developers > Open APIs from the main menu. In the Products with Open APIs area, click Regions and Endpoints. On the Regions and Endpoints page, in the Identity and Access Management (IAM) list of the Management and Deployment area, view the value in the Endpoint column corresponding to All in the Region Name column.

  • The SNAT and DNS servers have been configured. The management plane hybrid cloud can access the HUAWEI CLOUD API Gateway using the domain name.
  • You have obtained the account name, username, and password registered on HUAWEI CLOUD.

Account Name and Username: Log in to the HUAWEI CLOUD management console. Then, click the logged-in account in the upper right corner of the page and choose My Credential. On the My Credential page, you can view the account name and username.

Procedure

  1. Use a browser to log in to the ManageOne operation plane as an operation administrator.

In the non-B2B scenario, the login address format is https://Address for accessing the Console page, for example, https://console.type.com.
