What Can I Do When eSight Installation Fails Due to Language Check Failure


If the language of the operating system does not pass the environment check, eSight installation may fail.


In a Chinese operating system, you need to select Chinese when installing eSight. In an English operating system, you need to select English when installing eSight.

  • Windows: eSight supports the Windows Server 2012 R2 Standard Edition 64-bit (Simplified Chinese, English, German, and Spanish). Install the official Windows operating system.
  • SUSE12 Linux: eSight supports Novell SUSE Linux Enterprise Server - multi-language version - enterprise version - 12.0 SP2 (Simplified Chinese or English version).

    To change the operating system language, perform the following steps:

    1. Click the area at the lower right corner of the login page and choose .

    2. Select Personal > Region & Language.

    3. Click Language.

    4. Select English or Chinese from the Language drop-down list box, click Done.

    5. If the selected language package is not loaded in the system, a message is displayed, asking you to insert an installation disk. Insert an installation disk or mount an image file.
    6. Restart the operating system as prompted.
