Discovering Faults

This section describes the sources of common faults. After a fault occurs, you need to handle the fault in a timely manner to minimize service loss.

Faults can be detected in the following ways:

  • During routine maintenance, you can discover alarms on the eSight client.
  • During routine maintenance, there is a service exception but no alarm occurs.
  • You receive an alarm information notification by SMS or email and then check whether there is an alarm on the eSight client.
