Check the eSight Process Status

Check the eSight Process Status

Maintenance personnel must periodically check the eSight process running status to detect and rectify exceptions in a timely manner, which ensures the normal operation of the eSight server.

Impact on the System

If an eSight process is abnormal, the network management service related to the process is running abnormally.

Reference Standard

All eSight processes are running properly.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the maintenance tool.
  2. Choose System > System Monitoring from the main menu.
  3. Choose Process from the navigation tree on the System Monitoring page and check the eSight server process status.

    If the processes are in Running state, the eSight processes are running properly.

Exception Handling

If an eSight process is running abnormally, perform the following operations:

  1. Stop the eSight service.
  2. ReStart the eSight service.
  3. Check the eSight process status again and contact Huawei technical support engineers if any exception is detected.
