Driver Management

Setting information about the SSO server and eSight nodes

Function

This command is used to set the information about the SSO server and eSight nodes.

Syntax

./ssoConfig.sh

Command Path

/opt/eSight/AppBase/tools

Precautions

None.

Example
  1. Stop the eSight system.
  2. Log in to the eSight active node as the ossuser user.
  3. On the eSight active node, configure the information about the SSO server and eSight nodes.

    1. Perform the following substeps to execute the ssoConfig.sh file:

      cd /opt/eSight/AppBase/tools

      ./ssoConfig.sh

    2. When the following information is displayed, enter the IP address and port number for accessing the SSO server in the format IP address for accessing the SSO server:31943, and press Enter.
      Please input SSO Server url(eg. 10.10.10.10:31943): 
      NOTE:

      IP address for accessing the SSO server indicates the IP address for logging in to the CloudOpera O&M plane.

    3. When the following information is displayed, enter the eSight floating IP address and port number in the format eSight floating IP address:31942, and press Enter.
      Please input eSight url(eg. 10.10.10.14:31942): 

  4. Import the SSO server certificate on the eSight active node.

    1. Contact the SSO server system administrator to obtain the trust certificate trust.cer from the /opt/oss/Product/etc/ssl/er/ directory.
      NOTE:
      • If the UniSessionService is deployed in a two-node cluster, export the certificate file from the active node.
      • Product indicates the file path. Replace it with the actual one, for example, ies, Product, Product_O, or SOP.
    2. Open the FileZilla tool, copy the certificate exported from the SSO server to /opt/eSight directory, on the active eSight node.
      NOTE:

      If security hardening has been performed on the node, perform the following operations to upload the files:

      1. Use FileZilla to upload the files to the /home/sopuser directory of the node as sopuser user.
      2. Use PuTTY to log in to the node as the sopuser user.
      3. Run the following command to switch to the root user:

        su - root

        When the following information is displayed, enter the password of the root user, and press Enter.

        Password:
      4. Go to the /home/sopuser directory, run the following commands to copy the files to /opt/eSight directory, and set the file permission.

        mv /home/sopuser/trust.cer /opt/eSight/

        chown ossuser:ossgroup /opt/eSight/trust.cer

        chmod 640 /opt/eSight/trust.cer

    3. Go to the /opt/eSight/AppBase/jre/bin directory and run the certificate import command on the active eSight node.

      cd /opt/eSight/AppBase/jre/bin

      ./keytool -import -keystore ../lib/security/cacerts -file /opt/eSight/trust.cer -alias dtssoserver

      NOTE:

      dtssoserver: certificate name, which must be unique.

    4. When the following information is displayed, enter the password of the certificate library. The default password of the certificate library is Changeme_123, and process Enter.
      Enter keystore password:
    5. When the following information is displayed, enter y and press Enter.
      Trust this certificate? [no]:  

      The certificate is imported successfully if the following information is displayed. Otherwise, contact Huawei technical support.

      Certificate was added to keystore

  5. Start the eSight system.

Enabling the Driver Component

Function

This command is used to enable the Driver component function so that Driver component can collect the infrastructure information, report the information to CloudOpera after eSight connected to the CloudOpera.

Syntax

./driver_start.sh

Command Path

/opt/eSight/AppBase/tools

Precautions

The eSight Driver component has been installed.

Related Commands

None.

Example
  1. Log in to the active eSight server as the ossuser user.
  2. Run the following commands to enable the Driver component.

    cd /opt/eSight/AppBase/tools

    sh driver_start.sh

    The following information indicates that the Driver compoonent is enabled successfully.

    start driver success!

  3. Restart the eSight system.

Disabling the Driver Component

Function

This command is used to disable the Driver component function. After disabling the infrastructure information will not be reported to CloudOpera.

Syntax

./driver_stop.sh

Command Path

/opt/eSight/AppBase/tools

Precautions

The eSight Driver component has been installed.

Related Commands

None.

Example
  1. Log in to the active eSight node as the ossuser user.
  2. Run the following commands to disable the Driver component.

    cd /opt/eSight/AppBase/tools

    sh driver_stop.sh

    The following information indicates that the Driver component is disabled successfully.

    start driver success!

  3. Restart the eSight system.

Setting Driver Component for the IT component

Function

This command is used to check whether to delete the configuration file global.datasource.xml based on whether the eSight IT component is installed, ensuring that eSight resource data can be properly reported to CloudOpera.

Syntax

./changeDriver4IT.sh

Command Path

/opt/eSight/AppBase/tools

Precautions

The eSight Driver component has been installed.

Related Commands

None.

Example
  1. Log in to the active eSight node as the ossuser user.
  2. Execute the changeDriver4IT.sh script.

    cd /opt/eSight/AppBase/tools

    sh changeDriver4IT.sh

    If the following information is displayed when the changeDriver4IT.sh script is executed the first time, the execution is successful. If the script is not executed the first time, only the information "succeeded!" is displayed.

    deleting: META-INF/spring/global.datasource.xml 
    succeed!

  3. Restart the eSight system.

Setting the Driver Type

Function

This command is used to set the Driver type for reportting the network traffic alarm information to the CloudOpera after the network traffic analyzer is installed.

Syntax

./iesNtaConfig.sh

Command Path

/opt/eSight/AppBase/tools

Precautions

The eSight Driver component has been installed.

Example
  1. Log in to the active eSight node as the ossuser user.
  2. Run the following commands to set the driver type to network traffic driver:

    cd /opt/eSight/AppBase/tools

    ./iesNtaConfig.sh

    Enter y and press Enter when the following information is displayed:

    Enter 'y' to do nta configuration, or 'n' to exit (y/n):y

    The following information indicates that the set successfully.

    success

  3. Restart the eSight system.

Modifying the Configuration Parameters of Driver

Function

This command is used to modify the parameters in configuration file for interconnecting with CloudOpera.

Syntax

./modifyConfig.sh

Command Path

/opt/eSight/AppBase/tools

Precautions

The eSight Driver component has been installed.

Related Commands

Example
  1. Use PuTTY to log in to the active eSight server as the ossuser user.
  2. Run the following commands to modify the configuration parameters:
