MML Client

eSight can use man-machine language (MML) commands to manage NEs of the eIMS device.


  • You have logged in to the eSight client.
  • You have been assigned the operation rights of managing the eIMS object groups and the MML client.

The product feature you have purchased may use personal data of users (such as IMPU and device IP address) when providing services or maintenance. Therefore, you are obligated to take considerable measures, in compliance with the laws of the countries concerned and the user privacy policies of your company, to ensure that the personal data of users is fully protected.


  1. Choose Resource > Collaboration Resource from the main menu.
  2. Choose Network Element Device Management > eIMS Management > MML Client from the navigation tree on the left.
  3. Select device to be operated.

    1. Select Device type and version.
    2. Click Select Device. On the displayed window, select device and click OK.

  4. Enter MML commands in Command to operate device.

You can perform operations listed in the following table on the MML Client page.




You can perform this operation to modify system setting.

  1. Click Setting.
  2. Set Command timeout(s) in System setting.
  3. Set Reserved days for logs, Max. output reports and Parameter count in a line in MML settings.
  4. Click Confirm.

Operation Record

Click Operation Record. The operation log is displayed.


Click Clear to delete command output information on the screen.


  1. Enter MML commands in Command.
  2. Click Help. Help information about the MML commands is displayed on the screen.
