The microwave component supports the management of the PowerCube 500-T, ePMP 1000, RTN510 AP, and RTN510 RT devices. This section describes the purpose, feature, and positioning of the devices.

PowerCube 500-T

Huawei PowerCube 500-T hybrid power supply solution is widely used in safe city and smart city projects to provide power supply and support for video surveillance cameras and provide power supply and receiving space for data transmission devices. In addition, PowerCube 500-T can also provide power supply and support for devices such as the solar streetlight and hotspot coverage devices.

PowerCube 500-T supports mains and solar power supplies. Currently, it provides the solar, electrical hybrid, and photoelectric solutions, covering all scenarios with or without mains.

The PowerCube 500-T supports output voltage systems of 12 Vdc, 24 Vac, 48 Vdc, and 220 Vac at the same time. It can provide power supply for cameras and transport devices such as small routers, PONs, CPEs, and APs.

ePMP 1000

ePMP 1000 is a microwave product resold by Huawei to third parties. The main device is provided by Cambium Networks. The ePMP wireless broadband solution launched by Cambium Networks is the first to provide a high-quality service network with high reliability and GPS synchronization function in areas where network coverage is unavailable or insufficient. The network can be flexibly expanded with the expansion of the application scope.

RTN510

RTN510 is the first Sub 6G microwave transmission system launched by Huawei. It consists of Access Point (AP) and Remote Terminal (RT) and can provide low-cost Point-to-Point (PtP) and Point-to-Multipoint (PtMP) transmission solutions in the Line of Sight (LOS) or Non Line of Sight (NLOS) environments.

The following figure shows the core components of the PtP and PtMP solution.

The Sub 6G microwave solution uses the 4.9-5.9 GHz frequency band, which is a free-of-charge frequency band for most countries and regions. Except for some sub frequency bands, most frequency bands require no license. That is, free-of-charge frequency bands can be directly used.
