Sensu Parameter Settings and Switch Configuration

This topic explains the procedure to configure the sensu paramter settings for alarm and performance.

Alarms and performance parameters can be changed for specified alarms/performance checks. Procedure to configure the parameters as below.

Procedure:

  1. Login to eSight GUI with valid user. Go to Resource > Virtual Resource > Redhat OpenStack.
  2. Select available openstack which need to configure Sensu parameter.

  3. Select an Openstack, Go to Settings >> Sensu Parameter Setting >Search Alarm based on Category or Alarm ID or Alarm Name.

  4. Select an alarm (or performance), set threshold of Alarms limit. Select Edit icon on GUI On operation column. Click on Edit option and set the threshold parameters like below.

    NOTE:
    • Interval - time gap between the alarm syncronization in seconds is configurable for each individual alarm.

  5. Toggle the switch to make the alarm enabled or disabled. Switch value 'ON' indicates the alarm is enabled. Switch value 'OFF' indicates the alarm is disabled.
