Managing Terminal Accounts

eSight provides the terminal account management function, including adding accounts, modifying account passwords, and deleting accounts.


  1. Choose Resource > Collaboration Resource from the main menu.
  2. In the navigation tree on the left, choose Terminal Device Management > System Configuration.
  3. Manage terminal accounts in the Terminal Account Management area.


    When you add a terminal account or change the password of a terminal account, the system enables the password complexity check by default. You can disable the password complexity check based on the site requirements. Disabling password complexity check has security risks. You are advised to enable password complexity check.



    Adding a terminal account

    1. Click Add.
    2. Enter a name and password for the account to be created in the dialog box that is displayed.
    3. Click OK.

      Through the terminal account management function, you can only add accounts for terminals to connect to eSight. A maximum of 10 terminal accounts can be added.

    Changing the password of a terminal account

    1. Click .
    2. Enter the new password twice in the dialog box that is displayed and click OK.

    Deleting a terminal account

    1. Click .
    2. In the displayed dialog box, click OK.

      The default eSight and ems accounts cannot be deleted.
