How Do I Do If Some NEs Are Not Added to eSight After Successful Unified Communication Subnet Creation

The unified communication subnet is created successfully. However, some NEs are not added to eSight. How do I do?

  • If the access agency type is CGP, troubleshoot the fault as follows:
    1. Choose Resource > Collaboration Resource from the main menu of eSight.
    2. Choose Network Element Device Management > Unified Communications > Resource Management > Unified Communications Device and Network Element Device Management > Telepresence Conference > Videoconferencing Device from the navigation tree on the left, and check whether related NEs exist on the managed object list on the right.
      • If no NE exists in the two device list, check whether the port is reachable as follows:
        • Ensure that the eSight server can connect to ports 6443 and 9000 of the CGP.
        • Ensure that the CGP can connect to port 31922 of eSight.
        • If the device list contains the CGP NE but some NEs are missing, run the MML command LST ME on the device LMT and check whether the NEs are registered with the CGP. If the corresponding NE information does not exist, check whether the information for interconnecting the device with the CGP is correct.
