Exporting Storage Resources Periodically

You can periodically export the storage information in the running environment of the current system and upload the exported file to a remote server. In addition, you can view historical export records.

Procedure

  1. Go to the Export Storage Resources Periodically page.

    1. Choose Resource > Storage Subnet from the menu bar.

    2. Choose Export Storage Resources Periodically from the navigation tree.
      NOTE:

      The following device series support the export function: OceanStor T series, OceanStor V3 series, OceanStor V5 series, OceanStor 18000 series, OceanStor Dorado series, OceanStor S2600 series, and OceanStor S5000 series. For details, see Supported Device Access Protocols and Device Adding Methods.

  2. View the remote server information and historical export records in the pane on the right.

    • The upper part of the page displays the information about all remote servers that have been configured in the system.
      NOTE:
      • Click Add and configure the remote server information and export period.

        The configured login user must have the read, write, and delete permissions on the shared path. This function supports only the built-in SFTP service of the Linux operating system.

      • Click to start the export task. The export starts in the next period.
      • Click to stop the export task.
      • Click to modify the remote server information and export period.
      • Click to delete the export task.
    • All historical export records in the current system are displayed in the historical task area.
      • Click to download the storage resource information about the export task.
      • Click to delete the historical export record.
