Why eSE Alarms Cannot Be Synchronized

Why eSE Alarms Cannot Be Synchronized

Why eSE Alarms Cannot Be Synchronized?

eSight can synchronize alarms from devices to eSight.

eSE alarms are synchronized through SNMP. If eSE alarms cannot be synchronized, the security name, authentication key, or private key may be incorrect, or the SNMP timeout interval may be set to a short period.

In this case, access the device list and perform the following operations:

1. Check the security name, authentication key, or private key, and modify it if it is incorrect.

2. Check the SNMP timeout interval and modify it if it is too short.

SNMP supports only the CGPOMU device type.
