eLTE Module Management

This topic describes the definition, benefits, application scenarios, functions, principles, application restrictions, availability, and key indicators of eLTE module management.


A large scale of modules can be managed in centralized mode and the device access and software management capabilities are provided.


Device Access

Modules can be connected to eSight in centralized mode, and the basic information and dynamic information about modules can be uniformly displayed in the device list. Modules can be searched based on specified search criteria.

Software Management

  • Version management

    The module version upgrade package can be uploaded to the eSight server. The functions of viewing, searching for, and deleting the version file list and basic information are supported.

  • Upgrade management

    You can select modules in batches, create upgrade tasks or scheduled upgrade tasks, and monitor the overall status of tasks and the upgrade status of each module in real time.

  • Upgrade history

    Completed upgrade tasks can be archived to the upgrade history for tracing and viewing.

Application Restrictions

This feature has no special restriction.

Key Parameters

  • When deployed on a standard-configuration server, eSight can manage a maximum of 50000 modules.
  • When deployed on a high-configuration server, eSight can manage a maximum of 200000 modules.
  • Standard-configuration server: 12-core 2 GHz CPU, 32 GB memory, and 500 GB hard disk.
  • High-configuration server: 40-core 2 GHz CPU, 64 GB memory, and 1 TB hard disks.
