Configuring the Third-party System Integration

The Third-party System Integration uses value-added features provided by underlying storage systems to implement remote replication for mission-critical data of common applications running on application servers, the system is used in data protection and third-party system integration system. On the eSight, you can go to Third-party System Integration page.


The user is a member of the administrator group.


After installing the ReplicationDirector, configure parameters for it according to the following procedure. You can access the ReplicationDirector interface from eSight without logging in to the ReplicationDirector, and then perform information maintenance. If the ReplicationDirector is not installed, you do not need to perform the following procedure. The eSight supports only the following ReplicationDirector versions:

  • ReplicationDirector V100R003C00 (Clients of this version support only Internet Explorer.)
  • ReplicationDirector V100R003C10


  1. On the menu bar, choose Resource > Storage Subnet.

  2. Choose Configuration > Third-party System Integration.
  3. Click Add, set the device parameters in the Add Third-party System Access Address dialog. Table 10-27 describes related parameters.

    Set the name of the third-party system integration system.


    The name is a string of 1 to 128 characters.



    IP Address

    Indicates the IP address of the third-party system integration system.

    [Value range]

    • From left to right, the value of the first byte ranges from 1 to 255.
    • The values of the other bytes range from 0 to 255.



    Port number used for access a specific third-party system integration system.

    [Value range]

    The value ranges from 1 to 65535.



  4. Click OK.

    • Click Management, the Third-party System Integration page is opened.
    • Click to modify the device information.
    • Click to delete the device information.
