User eRAN Monitor

User eRAN Monitor

This function helps monitor resource information about users in real time.


  • You have logged in to the eSight client.
  • You have the user-level resource monitoring right.


  1. Choose Resource > eLTE > Fault Diagnosis > User eRAN Monitor from the main menu.
  2. Click Create.
  3. Set task parameters based on the site requirements.

    • Set Task Name.
    • The Period is set to 1000ms by default.
    • Click next to Start Time and End Time respectively to set the start time and end time.

  4. Select eNodeB.

    1. Click Select eNodeB.
    2. In the dialog box that is displayed, select eNodeBs to monitor, and click OK.

  5. Set user.

    1. In Select User Type, select a user type.

      Needed register information items are displayed.

    2. Enter the register information items.

  6. Select monitoring information.

    1. In Select Trace Type, select a trace type.

      Test items are displayed.

    2. Select test items.

  7. Click OK.

Follow-up Procedure

After the task is created, you can perform the following operations on the user-level resource monitoring page.



Search Task

  1. Click on the search bar.
  2. Set the search criteria on the page that is displayed.
    • Set Status and Monitoring Type.
    • Set Task Name.
    • Set Actual Start Time and Actual End Time.
    • In More, click Device Name and Error Cause respectively, and enter the search criteria.
  3. Click Search.

Import Task

  1. Click Import above the table.
  2. In the window that is displayed, set the Task Name.
  3. Click in the import window. In the dialog box that is displayed, select the MMF file to import and click Open.
  4. Click Upload.

Query Task

  1. Click before a task to query.
  2. Task details are displayed.

Start Task

  • Start a single task. In the Operation column of a task, click .
  • Start tasks in a batch.
    1. Select tasks you want to start.
    2. Click Start above the list.

Stop Task

  • Stop a single task. In the Operation column of a task, click .
  • Stop tasks in a batch.
    1. Select tasks you want to stop.
    2. Click Stop above the list.

Delete Task

  • Delete a single task

    In the Operation column of a task, click .

  • Delete in batches
    1. Select tasks to delete.
    2. Click Delete in the upper part of the table.

Export Task

  1. In the Operation column of a task, click .
  2. Select the file path and click OK.

Query Real-Time Monitoring Data

  1. Click the name of a task to query.
  2. Turn on Real-Time Refresh on the page that is displayed.
  3. Select indicators under Chart Display Item on the left.
  4. Real-time data is automatically refreshed.

    After Real-Time Refresh is turned off, the data will not be refreshed, but monitoring tasks continue. Users can drag the time axis under the table to check data.
