Deployment Mode
eSight supports three deployment modes: single-server deployment, distributed server deployment, and high-availability (HA) system deployment.
Unless otherwise specified, when devices connect to eSight through southbound interfaces, networking through network address translation (NAT) is not supported. For details, see the Operation Guide.
- Single-Server Deployment
In the single-node system deployment scheme, multiple web clients and one eSight server are connected through a local area network (LAN) or wide area network (WAN). - Distributed Server Deployment
To enable large-scale network management or cross-regional management, eSight can be deployed in distributed server mode. - HA System Deployment
An eSight HA system can be a local two-node cluster (where two servers are deployed at the same site) or a remote two-node cluster (where two servers are deployed at two different sites). This mode applies to scenarios that require high reliability.
