Comprehensive Management

Enterprises have constructed various application services. In traditional device management mode, each system separately manages the network and services and does not have the O&M capabilities, including E2E network monitoring, fault location, and service configuration. This mode cannot support development of enterprises. Not only limited to device management, the IT department of an enterprise also needs to construct a comprehensive management system. With the openness capabilities of various application services, the comprehensive management system can integrate data and services. Therefore, most enterprises are now approaching or have achieved the management objectives of unified IT O&M, comprehensive management, and refined management.

Multi-vendor Device Networking

In most cases, an enterprise network consists of devices of multiple vendors and has to introduce an NMS for devices of each vendor. Currently, the NMS of a vendor can manage devices of only its own vendor. Enterprises are in urgent need of an NMS that can manage devices of multiple vendors in a unified manner. NMSs of vendors have different graphical user interfaces (GUIs), management capabilities, and operation modes. Enterprise network O&M personnel must learn each NMS, which affects maintenance efficiency.
