Collecting Interworking Parameters

Collecting Interworking Parameters

Before deploying the SNMP NBI, collect interworking parameters from maintenance engineers of the third-party system. The third-party system can connect to the eSight through the SNMP NBI and receive alarm traps from the eSight only after parameters are consistently configured on the third-party system and the eSight.

Parameters to be collected are listed in the Table 4-5. The parameter descriptions are provided in the subsequent chapters.

Table 4-5 provides only mandatory interwork parameters. It is necessary to collect basic parameters. For other parameters, use their default values.
