Configure IP white list

You can configure an IP address whitelist in either of the following ways.

  • Configuring the whitelist using the configuration file
    The eSight administrators must set parameters in the eSight installation directory/AppBase/etc/iemp.framework/ip.white.list/ file by following Table 3-2.

    Effective Mode

    Indicates the IP.


    Data type: String

    Value range: IP@jetty.openapi, where, the IP address is in dotted format.

    Default value: no default value


    Configuration Example:
  • Configuring the whitelist on the graphical user interface (GUI)
    1. Choose System > System Settings > Northbound Integration from the main menu.
    2. Choose Third-party System Settings from the navigation tree and click Create.
    3. Set the IP address of the third-party system and select HTTPS as the connection protocol.
    4. Click OK.
