Configuring Local System Settings
Before invoking the OpenAPI, the local information of the eSight must be set first.
- Choose System > System Settings > Northbound Integration from the main menu.
- Choose Local System Settings from the navigation tree.
- In the Global Parameters area, set System ID, System name, and IP address of the local system.
- System ID: indicates the ID of the system, which uniquely identifies the local system.
- You are advised to set IP address to the local IP address. If the system IP address is 127.0.0.*, the third-party system can access the system only through the system server.
- If the operating system has multiple IP addresses, configure the parameter to the IP address that can communicate to a third-party system physically. In the remote HA system, the IP address of the local system cannot be automatically switched after an active/standby switchover.
- In the HTTPS Interface area, set Basic Parameters and Notification Parameters.
Heartbeat interval: specifies the interval for the third-party system to check whether the eSight is online.
- Click Apply.
