An error may occur in the disk file system when an exception exists in the Windows operating system. You need to examine each disk and rectify the fault.
- Stop eSight.
- Click Computer and perform the following operations to examine each disk and rectify the fault.
- Right-click a disk and choose Properties > Tools.
- Click Check under Error checking.
- Rectify the fault as prompted. During this process, you may need to restart the Windows operating system.
- Start and log in to eSight to check whether basic services, such as resources, alarms, and performance work properly.
- Store the disk scan and recovery logs for later analysis.
- Choose Start > Administrative Tools > Event Viewer.
- Expand Windows Logs.
- Right-click Application and choose Filter Current Log....
- Set Event sources to Chkdsk and click OK.
- In the Actions window in the right pane, choose Save Filtered Log File As... and store the logs in a local directory.
