How do I use the upgrade check tool?

- Windows
- Log in to the server as the Administrator user. On the eSight console, choose Tools > Upgrade Check Tool.
The upgrade check tool GUI is displayed.
- Click Check.
- Log in to the server as the Administrator user. On the eSight console, choose Tools > Upgrade Check Tool.
- Linux
- In an HA system, you need to use the tool on the active server.
- Log in to the server as the ossuser user.
- Start the upgrade check tool.
- Configuration through a graphical tool (applicable only to the SUSE Linux operating system)
- Run the following commands to start the upgrade check tool:
cd eSight installation directory\mttools\tools
sh upgradechecktool.sh
The upgrade check tool GUI is displayed.
- Click Check.
- Run the following commands to start the upgrade check tool:
- Configuration through commands (applicable to the EulerOS and SUSE Linux operating systems)
es_cli -cmd upgradecheck
The es_cli -cmd upgradecheck command can be used in eSight V300R010C00SPC500 and later versions.
- Configuration through a graphical tool (applicable only to the SUSE Linux operating system)
