What can I do if the message "The model library of the SQL Server is oversized. Reduce the size to less than XXX" is displayed during eSight installation, incremental installation, or upgrade?
Answer
- Shrink the model library of the SQL Server.
- Choose Start > SQL Server Management Studio.
- Enter the user name and password of the database to connect to the database.
- Right-click model and choose Tasks > Shrink > Database from the shortcut menu.
- Click OK to shrink the model library.
- Continue to install or upgrade eSight.
If the model library still cannot meet the requirements after it is shrunk, manually delete useless data from it. You can also contact Huawei technical support for troubleshooting.
