How Do I Do If the Database Administrator User Cannot Be Connected
Question
When the eSight starts, the eSight Console reports that the database administrator user cannot be connected.
Answer
Use the eSight maintenance tool to reset the password of the database administrator user.
- Open a browser, enter https://Server IP address:Port number in the address box, and press Enter.
When you use HTTPS to log in to the eSight maintenance tool, the default port number is 31945.
- Choose System > DB Password Management from the main menu of the maintenance tool.
- In the database password management window that is displayed, change the password of the database user.
- Set Old password, New password, and Confirm password in the Database System Administrator Password area and click Apply.
Set Old password to the current password of the database administrator user.
