This topic describes how to synchronize the eSight server IP address to eSight after the eSight server IP address is changed.

In the southbound and northbound non-isolation scenario, modify the system IP address of eSight.

- Use the IP address change tool to synchronize the eSight IP address.
NOTE: After the IP address of eSight changes, some types of devices need to be reconfigured, such as IPPhones and IADs. For details about configuration data, see initial access planning for the devices.
- From the eSight Console main menu, choose Tools > IP Change Tool.
- In the IP Address Tool dialog box that is displayed, select an eSight server IP address and click Modify.
NOTE: For a server on which the Unified Communications, Telepresence Videoconference, Video Surveillance, and Database Application components are installed, you must delete devices related to these components from the eSight server before changing its IP address, and then add the devices again.

In the southbound and northbound isolation scenario, modify the southbound IP address of eSight.

- Log in to the server as the Administrator user.
- Choose eSight > eSight Console from all programs.
- Choose Tools > Southbound IP Config Tool in the eSight Console window.
- Configure new Southbound IP and select After modification or rollback, modify the eSight IP address on the device accordingly on the Southbound IP Config Tool page.
NOTE: If eSight needs to be stopped and started automatically, select Automatically start and stop eSight. Otherwise, you need to manually stop eSight before rollback and start eSight after rollback.
