Commissioning the eSight
To allow the eSight to manage the network, you must commission the eSight before using the eSight to manage devices and configuring services.
If you use a graphical terminal, such as Xshell, to remotely log in to the server, run the following command to set the environment variable:
- View the value of the environment variable DISPLAY.
echo $DISPLAY
The following information is displayed:
:0.0
- Set the value of the environment variable DISPLAY.
export DISPLAY=IP address of the graphical terminal:0.0
