How Do I Do If the System Displays a Message Indicating that the BCP Cannot Run During eSight Installation or Upgrade

During eSight installation or Upgrade, the system displays a message indicating that the BCP cannot run.
Answer
The Client Tools Connectivity is not installed, or the configurations of environment variables are incorrect.
Procedure
- Check whether the Client Tools Connectivity is installed.
- Log in to the server as the Administrator user.
- Insert the database installation disc and execute the setup.exe file in the root directory on the disc to start the SQL Server 2012 installation center.
- The SQL Server Installation Center dialog box is displayed.
- Choose Installation from the navigation pane and click New SQL Server stand-alone installation or add features to an existing installation in the right pane.
- The Setup-Setup Support Rules dialog box is displayed. After the installation is complete, click OK, and then click Next.
- In the Installation Type dialog box, select Add features to an existing instance of SQL Server 2012 and click Next.
- In the Feature Selection dialog box, perform the following steps:
- If Client Tools Connectivity is not installed:
If Client Tools Connectivity is not selected, the tool is not installed.
- Select Client Tools Connectivity and click Next.
- In the Disk Space Requirements dialog box, click Next.
- In the Error Reporting dialog box, click Next.
- In the Installation Configuration Rules dialog box, click Next.
- In the Ready to Install dialog box, click Install.
- After the installation is complete, click Close in the displayed Complete dialog box to complete the installation of the SQL Server 2012 - Client Tools Connectivity.
- Select Client Tools Connectivity and click Next.
- If the Client Tools Connectivity has been installed, check whether the environment variables have been configured.
If Client Tools Connectivity is selected, the tool is installed.
- Open the control panel and choose

- Choose Path > Edit....
The Edit System Variable dialog box is displayed.
- Check whether the following paths are included in the variable values:

C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\110\DTS\Binn\;
C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft SQL Server\110\Tools\Binn\ManagementStudio\;
C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft SQL Server\110\DTS\Binn\;
- If these paths are not included, add them to the variable values.
If these paths are included, you are advised to reinstall the SQL Server database by referring to the corresponding section in "Installation and Commissioning" in eSight V300R010C00SPC200&300&500 Product Documentation.
- Click to save environment variable configurations.
- Restart the Microsoft SQL Server 2012 R2 database.
