Installing an AirPresence Client
Prerequisites
The AirPresence client can run on a Windows or Mac PC.
- The following Windows operating systems are supported:
- 32-bit or 64-bit Windows 7 SP1
- 32-bit or 64-bit Windows 8.1
- 32-bit or 64-bit Windows 10
- The following 32- and 64-bit Mac operating systems are supported:
- OS X 10.7
- OS X 10.8
- OS X 10.9
- OS X 10.10
- OS X 10.11
The AirPresence client can run on an Android or iOS mobile device.
- Android 5.0 or later, CPU with the ARMv7 Neon chip or above, dominant frequency of 1.5 GHz or above, memory of 1 GB or above
- iOS 7.0 or later, iPhone 5 or later or iPad2 or later
The content on the device that has the AirPresence client installed can be shared with the endpoint as long as the device and endpoint reside in the same LAN.
A maximum of three AirPresence clients can connect to the same TE10 concurrently. The TE10 can be controlled by all the connected clients, but only the last operation takes effect.
Procedure
- Installing the AirPresence client on a PC
To download the AirPresence client software, click Download Air Presence Client at the bottom of the web interface login page or click Download Air Presence Client in the lower right corner of the web interface home page. To see the home page of the web interface or log in to the web interface to see its home page, refer to Logging In to the Web Interface.
Install the downloaded software. When the installation is complete, the shortcut icon of the AirPresence client appears on the desktop, as shown in Figure 5-1.
- Mobile device
- Scan the QR code on the AirPresence screen of the user interface.
- For Android smartphone or tablet users, search for AirPresence in Huawei HiApp or Google Play. For iPhone or iPad users, search for AirPresence in App Store.
The license required for the Android operating system to share PDF files has been applied for through the mailbox of Huawei's contact person. This mailbox is used only for license verification during the operations of the AirPresence client.
Install the downloaded software. When the installation is complete, the shortcut icon of the AirPresence client appears on the screen, as shown in Figure 5-2.
