Setting Parameters Using the Wizard
You can configure your endpoint quickly by following the wizard.
- On the web interface, choose System Settings > Installation.
On the Installation page shown in Figure 2-23, click Wizard.
- On the General page that is displayed, define the site name and IP settings, as shown in Figure 2-24.
Table 2-10 describes the site name and IP settings. For the parameters that are not listed here, use their default values.

Default value. Set this parameter based on the site requirements.
Connection type
Dynamic IP
Default value.
The options are as follows:
- Static IP: If you select Static IP, you need to set Local IP address, Subnet mask, and Gateway address.
- Dynamic IP: If you select Dynamic IP, the TE10 automatically obtains an IP address from the DHCP server.
Confirm the connection type with administrator.
- Click Next.
On the Registration page that is displayed. Confirm the server to connect to with the administrator and obtain relevant settings.

Description
Huawei Cloud
Click Activate. In the dialog box that is displayed, enter the activation code and click OK. After the Huawei cloud service is activated, the endpoint automatically obtains configuration data from the Huawei cloud platform.
NOTE:Only the first-time activation requires an activation code.
Videxio
Click Activate. After the Videxio cloud service is activated, the endpoint automatically obtains configuration data from the Videxio cloud platform.
NOTE:The mode in which the endpoint obtains configuration data from the Videxio cloud platform can be specified. If the Auto mode is used, the endpoint will obtain configuration data from the configuration server on the Videxio cloud platform every 900s. If detecting any configuration updates, the endpoint will register with the SIP server using the updated configuration data again.
StarLeaf
Click Activate. In the dialog box that is displayed, enter the activation code and click OK. After the StarLeaf cloud service is activated, the endpoint automatically obtains configuration data from the StarLeaf cloud platform.
NOTE:Only the first-time activation requires an activation code.
TMS/DM
Enter the server address, user name, and password of the TMS/DM and click Activate. After the TMS/DM is activated, the endpoint automatically obtains configuration data from the TMS/DM.
SMC
Enter the server address, user name, and password of the SMC and click Activate. After the SMC is activated, the endpoint automatically obtains configuration data from the SMC.
eSight
Enter the server address and activation code of the eSight and click Activate. After the eSight is activated, the endpoint automatically obtains configuration data from the eSight.
Manual
Set the H.323 and SIP server parameters. For details, see Setting the H.323 Parameters and Setting the SIP Parameters.
- Click Next. Then set the video input parameters, as shown in Figure 2-25.
Use default values for the video input parameters. If you do need to modify the parameters, ensure that they are defined based on the actually connected ports.
- After the settings are complete, click Finish.
If the GK and SIP icons shown in Figure 2-26 are displayed in the lower right corner of the web interface, the endpoint is registered with the GK and SIP server successfully.
If the two icons are not displayed, verify the GK and SIP settings.
