Setting Parameters Using the Wizard
- Access the Configuration Wizard screen.
- The Configuration Wizard screen appears by default at the first startup.
- Use the remote control to choose System Settings > Configuration Wizard.
- Stand within 1 meter (3.28 ft) away from the endpoint and press and hold
+
on the remote control for 5s, as shown in Figure 2-2.
If the message "Paired with the remote control." is displayed, the endpoint and remote control are paired successfully. Then press OK.
- On the Language screen, select a language and press OK, as shown in Figure 2-3.
- On the Time Zone screen, select a time zone and press OK, as shown in Figure 2-4.
If the time zone you select uses DST, your endpoint will automatically enable DST and change its time accordingly.
- Configure a wired or wireless connection.
Confirm with your administrator whether the HTTP proxy is required. If it is required, obtain its settings from the administrator. Then select HTTP Proxy in the lower right corner of the LAN or Wi-Fi Network screen. In the window that is displayed, set Proxy server address, User name, Password, and Port.
- If a network cable is connected, you will access the LAN screen shown in Figure 2-5. (Only the IPv4 address is supported.)Confirm with the administrator about the network configuration method. Table 2-1 describes the supported network configuration methods.Table 2-1 Configuration method

DHCP
The TE10 automatically obtains LAN settings from the Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) server. You only need to select OK to confirm the obtained settings.
Static
Set IP address, Subnet mask, Gateway address, and DNS address and select OK. (Obtain the values from the administrator.)
- If no network cables are connected, you will access the Wi-Fi Network screen shown in Figure 2-6.
Before connecting the TE10 to a Wi-Fi hotspot, disable the SIP ALG function of the wireless router.
- If a network cable is connected, you will access the LAN screen shown in Figure 2-5. (Only the IPv4 address is supported.)
- On the Registration screen, select the server to register with.
Table 2-2 describes the servers that you can cloud platform or server with which the TE10 can register.

Huawei cloud
Confirm with your administrator whether the Huawei cloud service has been purchased and if yes, obtain the activation code.
On the Registration screen, select the Huawei cloud platform and press OK. In the dialog box that is displayed, enter the activation code and select OK. Then press OK.
NOTE:Only the first-time activation requires an activation code.
Videxio
Videxio is the world's leading cloud video service provider that makes it easy for organizations of any size across more than 120 countries to use professional videoconferencing services.
Confirm with your administrator whether the following perquisites are met:
- The Videxio cloud service has been purchased.
- A number has been allocated to the TE10 from the Videxio cloud.
- The TE10 SN has been recorded into the activation server of the Videxio cloud.
On the Registration screen, press OK on the remote control to start activating the Videxio cloud service.
StarLeaf
StarLeaf offers cloud-powered videoconferencing services to enterprises across more than 50 countries.
Confirm with your administrator whether the StarLeaf cloud service has been purchased and if yes, obtain the activation code.
On the Registration screen, select the StarLeaf cloud platform and press OK. In the dialog box that is displayed, enter the activation code and select OK. Then press OK.
NOTE:Only the first-time activation requires an activation code.
eSight
Confirm with your administrator whether the following perquisites are met:
- The DHCP server has been configured.
- The TE10 has been predefined as a participant.
- The activation code has been obtained.
For details about how to set the DHCP server parameters, see section "Configuring the DHCP Server."
In the dialog box that is automatically displayed, enter the activation code, and click OK.
Terminal Management System (TMS)/China Mobile Device Management (DM)
Confirm with your administrator whether the following perquisites are met:
- The DHCP server has been configured.
- The TE10 has been predefined as a participant.
- The authentication user name and password have been obtained.
For details about how to set the DHCP server parameters, see section "Configuring the DHCP Server."
In the dialog box that is automatically displayed, enter the authentication user name and password, and click OK.
Service Management Center (SMC)
Confirm with your administrator whether the following perquisites are met:
- The DHCP server has been configured.
- The TE10 has been predefined as a participant.
For details about how to set the DHCP server parameters, see section "Configuring the DHCP Server."
The dialog box asking you to enter the authentication user name and password is automatically displayed.
Confirm with your administrator whether you need to enter the authentication user name and password. If yes, enter them and select OK. If no, directly select OK.
If any errors occur during the registration, contact the administrator for assistance. If you want to register the TE10 manually, follow the instructions in Setting the SIP Parameters and Setting the H.323 Parameters.
- On the Speaker screen, select Play, as shown in Figure 2-7.
You will hear the test tone and can adjust the volume using the volume buttons on the right side of the remote control.
If you do not hear any sounds, adjust up the volume of the TE10 or the display. If you still cannot hear any sounds, a hardware error may occur. Contact the local supplier.
- Select Skip to access the Camera screen, as shown in Figure 2-8. On this screen, you can perform the following operations:
- Press the arrow buttons on the remote control to adjust the camera angle.
- Press
on the remote control to adjust the camera to its home position.
- Press the side volume buttons to zoom in or out on video images captured by the camera.
- Select Done.The configuration is complete. The system returns to the Configuration Wizard screen shown in Figure 2-9.
