Configuring the Endpoint Using the TMS
After the endpoint connects to the TMS, the TMS will automatically provision configuration data to the endpoint. The configuration data includes SIP registration parameters (URI and authentication user name/password) and parameters specified in the configuration file. (The configuration file is obtained from the endpoint software package and then uploaded to the TMS.)
Prerequisites
The endpoint has been connected to the TMS, and the authentication user name and password have been obtained. Then view the "Configuring Videoconferencing Endpoints to Connect to the TMS" section in it.
Procedure
When your endpoint is powering on for the first time, it prompts the Configuration Wizard screen by default. Then you can use the remote control to perform the following operations:
- Follow the instructions in the "Setting Parameters Using the Wizard" section to access the Registration screen shown in Figure 3-5.
- In the TMS/DM window that is displayed, enter the authentication user name and password, as shown in Figure 3-6.
- Press OK.
