(Optional) Startup Video Settings
The UpgMaster.exe tool can be obtained from SW in the endpoint's software package. To download the software package, visit http://support.huawei.com/enterprise/ and search TE10 V600R019C00.
Making a Startup Video Clip
When preparing images for custom startup animation, note that:
- Only PNG and JPG images at the resolution of 1024 x 768, 1280 x 720, or 1920 x 1080 are supported.
- The startup animation consists of two segments. Place images of the two segments in two different folders. All images of the two segments cannot exceed 20 MB. The second segment contains a maximum of 30 images.
- Double-click UpgMaster.exe to open the upgrade tool.
- Choose Tools > Zip Animation Package, as shown in Figure 8-1.
- Click Add next to the Play once animation Dir and Play loop animation Dir text boxes respectively to specify the two directories. Then set Picture resolution and Frame rate, as shown in Figure 8-2. The detailed description of the parameters is provided in Table 8-1.

Play once animation Dir
Specifies the first part of the startup video clip, which will be played only once.
Play loop animation Dir
Specifies the second part of the startup video clip, which will be played circularly and not stopped until the user interface is displayed.
Picture resolution
Specifies the resolution of video clips that you select for Play once animation Dir and Play loop animation Dir.
Frame rate
Specifies the frame rate.
- Click PackFile to generate a startup video package. If the package is generated successfully, the message shown in Figure 8-3 will be displayed.
The generated bootanimation folder and bootanimation.zip package can be found under the path where the UpgMaster.exe file resides, as shown in Figure 8-4.
- Double-click UpgMaster.exe to open the upgrade tool.
- Choose Tools > Pack Upgrade File, as shown in Figure 8-5.
- Set Product Type to BootVid and click Pack File, as shown in Figure 8-6. Then select a directory and click Save.
Replacing a Startup Video Clip
- Double-click UpgMaster.exe to open the upgrade tool.
- Set Product Type to BootVid and enter the IP address of the endpoint whose startup video needs to be replaced, as shown in Figure 8-7.
- Click Upgrade.
