Logging In to the Web Interface
The IP address of the computer using which you will access the TE10 web interface must be located in the same network segment as the IP address of the TE10. On the computer, run the cmd command to open the command line interface (CLI) and run the ping endpoint IP address command to ping the endpoint.
- The default endpoint IP address is 192.168.1.1. If your endpoint IP address is not the default one, use the actual IP address, which you can obtain from the home screen of the user interface operated using the remote control.
- You can configure your endpoint only after logging in to it using the admin account. The detailed information about the admin account is provided in Setting User Accounts.
- Open a web browser and enter the endpoint IP address in the address box to access the login page of the web interface. Then enter the user name and password (default: admin/Change_Me) to log in, as shown in Figure 2-21.
If Web login under System Settings> More > General on the endpoint's user interface e is set to Disable, the endpoint's web interface is inaccessible; if Web login is set to Via Wi-Fi only, you can access the endpoint's web interface only from the computer that connects to the Wi-Fi hotspot on the endpoint.
- Change the default password at the first login, as shown in Figure 2-22. Keep the new password secure for subsequent use.
If you forget your password, use the tip of a pen (or similar) to press and hold the RST button in the pinhole for 10s when your endpoint is running to reset it to factory settings.
