Controlling Audio

On your endpoint, you can adjust the audio effects. For example, you can adjust the volume of the microphone and speaker.


  1. Choose Device Control > Device Control and click the Audio Control tab.
  2. Set the audio control parameters listed in Table 6-2.

    Audio Input

    Audio Input

    Turns on or off all audio input sources.

    The default value is Unmute.

    Built-in MIC 1

    Built-in MIC 2

    Built-in MIC 3

    Adjusts the microphone volume at your site. When you adjust this microphone volume, the volume heard at remote sites is adjusted accordingly.

    The default value is +0 dB.

    Value range: -12 dB to +12 dB

    Audio Output


    Mutes or unmutes the speaker at your site. To hear other sites, unmute the speaker.

    The default value is Unmute.


    Adjusts the output volume heard at your site. If both left and right audio channels are available, the volume of both channels is adjusted at the same time.

    The default value is 15.

    Value range: 0-21

    Alert tone volume

    Increases or decreases the alert tone volume.

    The default value is 3.

    Value range: 0-3

    Sound Effect




    Adjusts the gain of bass, middle, and treble tones.

    The default value is +0 dB.

    Value range: -6 dB to +6 dB

    Bluetooth headset

    Bluetooth headset

    After enabling Bluetooth headset, you can hear the loudspeaker and adjust the volume of the Bluetooth headset.

    The default value is +0 dB.

    Value range: -12 dB to +12 dB



    After enabling USB MIC, you can speak to other participants through the connected USB microphone and also adjust the microphone volume.

    The default value is +0 dB.

    Value range: -12 dB to +12 dB
