IP address for the arbitration plane of the server

Procedure

  • Red Hat, Oracle, EulerOS, and CentOS
    1. Run the cd /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts command to go to the directory where the configuration file is stored.
    2. Run the cp ifcfg-fsb_data0 ifcfg-fsb_data0:0 command to generate the quorum IP configuration file.

      NOTE:
      ifcfg-fsb_data0 is the configuration file in which the management IP address has been configured. Set the configuration file name based on the site requirements.
      [root@localhost network-scripts]# cp ifcfg-fsb_data0 ifcfg-fsb_data0:0

    3. Run the vi ifcfg-fsb_data0:0 command and press i to enter the editing mode. Then, press Esc to exit the editing mode and enter :wq to save the modification and exit.

      NOTE:
      In the following example, the arbitration plane service IP address is 192.168.6.33, and the subnet mask is 255.255.0.0.
      [root@localhost network-scripts]#vi ifcfg-fsb_data0:0
      DEVICE=fsb_data0:0
      IPADDR=192.168.6.33

      [root@localhost:/etc/sysconfig/network]# vi ifcfg-fsb_data0
      DEVICE=fsb_data0
      IPADDR0=Management plane IP address
      NETMASK0=Management plane subnet mask
      LABEL0=0
      IPADDR1=192.168.6.33
      NETMASK1=255.255.0.0
      LABEL1=1
