Logging In to the FusionStorage Block Self-Maintenance Platform

Scenarios

Log in to the FusionStorage Block Self-Maintenance Platform to perform desired operations.

Prerequisites

Conditions

  • The browser used for logging in to the FusionStorage Block Self-Maintenance Platform needs to be Internet Explorer 9.0 or later, Google Chrome 31 or later, or Mozilla Firefox 26 or later.
  • The Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox browser has been configured properly.
  • You have obtained the floating IP address of the FSM nodes if FSM nodes are deployed in active/standby mode or the management IP address of the FSM node if the FSM node is deployed in standalone mode.
  • You have obtained the username and password for logging in to the FusionStorage Block Self-Maintenance Platform.
  • The required resolution has been set on the local PC. The recommended resolution is 1366p x 768p or 1440p x 900p. To have the optimal user experience, use a horizontal resolution that is greater than or equal to 1280p.

Procedure

    1. Open Internet Explorer.

      NOTE:
      This section describes how to log in to FusionStorage Block using Internet Explorer 9.0.

    2. Enter the FusionStorage Block Self-Maintenance Platform login address in the address box and press Enter.

      The login address format is https://FusionStorage Block management node floating IP address/fsportal.

      For example, enter https://192.168.40.10/fsportal in the address box.

      NOTE:
      • If a security warning is displayed because no security certificate is installed, click Continue to this website (not recommended).
      • FusionStorage Block Self-Maintenance Platform supports only the TLS 1.2 protocol. To set the protocol for Google Chrome, on the browser, choose Settings > Show advanced settings... > Change proxy settings... > Advanced > Security and select Use TLS 1.2. For details about how to set the protocol for Internet Explorer, see Setting Internet Explorer. For details about how to set the protocol for Mozilla Firefox, see Setting Mozilla Firefox Browser.

    3. Enter Username, Password, and Verification code.

      NOTE:
      If the verification code is not displayed, perform the following operations:
      • Clear the cache information of the browser, close the browser, and log in again.
      • If the fault persists, log in to the active FSM node as user dsware and switch to user root.

        Run the df /opt command to query the remaining space of the /opt directory. Ensure that the remaining space is greater than 100 MB or the space usage is less than 95%.

    4. Click Login.

      The FusionStorage Block Self-Maintenance Platform main page is displayed.
