Modifying a HyperMetro Consistency Group

Scenarios

This operation is used to modify the HyperMetro consistency group, including the consistency group name, restoration policy, and synchronization speed.

Prerequisites

  • You have logged in to FusionStorage Block Self-Maintenance Platform.
  • You have created a HyperMetro consistency group.

Procedure

    1. On FusionStorage Block Self-Maintenance Platform, choose DR Service > dr > DR Cluster, click Manage HyperMetro in the row where the cluster resides.
    2. Locate the target consistency group, click More in the Operation column, and choose Modify.

Table 3-5 lists the configuration parameters.

Table 3-5  Consistency group configuration parameters

      Name

      Description

      Example Value

      Name

      • The name can contain 1 to 63 characters.
      • The name can contain only letters, digits, hyphens (-), and underscores (_).

      HCG01

      Restoration Policy

A restoration policy determines whether the system automatically synchronizes data after the fault is rectified.
      • Automatic: The system automatically synchronizes data.
      • Manual: Data synchronization must be performed manually.

      Automatic

      Synchronization Speed

Data replication speed of the HyperMetro service
      • Low: When the synchronization speed is set to Low, data synchronization takes a relative long period of time. This speed applies to scenarios where the service load is heavy. The speed is 1 MB/s.
      • Medium: When the synchronization speed is set to Medium, data synchronization takes a relative short period of time. This speed applies to scenarios where the service load is relatively heavy. The speed is 32 MB/s.
      • High: When the synchronization speed is set to High, data synchronization takes a short period of time. This speed applies to scenarios where the service load is relatively light. The speed is 256 MB/s.
      • Highest: When the synchronization speed is set to Highest, data synchronization takes the shortest period of time. This speed applies to scenarios where the service load is light. The speed is 1024 MB/s.

      Medium

    4. Click Modify.

A dialog box is displayed indicating that the operation is successful.

    5. Click OK.

      The modification is complete.
