Forcibly Starting a HyperMetro Consistency Group


If the quorum server fails to implement arbitration due to a system fault, you can forcibly start the local or remote consistency group to provide services after the fault is rectified.


  • You have logged in to FusionStorage Block Self-Maintenance Platform.
  • The running status of the consistency group is Paused, Forced to Start, or To Be Synchronized.


    1. On FusionStorage Block Self-Maintenance Platform, choose DR Service > dr > DR Cluster, click Manage HyperMetro in the row where the cluster resides.
    2. Locate the target consistency group, click More in the Operation column, and choose Forcibly Restart.

      A warning dialog box is displayed.

    3. Confirm the information and click OK.

      A dialog box is displayed indicating that the operation is successful.

    4. Click OK.
