Floor Deployment Planning

Floor Deployment Planning

Before planning how to install the Dorado18000 V3 storage system on raised floors or non-raised floors, learn about the system dimensions, deployment options, and floor area requirements to ensure that the planned space is sufficient for system deployment.

Device Dimensions

Table 4-1 and Table 4-2 describe the dimensions of a system bay and the width of a multi-bay.

The dimensions in Table 4-1 are a bay's maximum dimensions including the dimensions of wheels and base anchors.

Number of Bays

1207 mm

a: Leave a 6 mm to 8 mm space between every two bays so that the front door of the bay on the right can move freely when the front door of the bay on the left is fully open. The space is calculated by assuming the space between every two bays is 7 mm.

Floor Planning

When placing the floors, note the requirements of device installation and deployment, raised floors and non-raised floors, floor tile cuts, and ventilation.

If an equipment room adopts the underfloor flow mode, provide each bay with a ventilation floor whose ventilation rate is greater than or equal to 0.5.

When deploying a bay on a raised floor, align the bay columns with the floor seams. If adopting the underfloor cabling mode, cut the floor. When a single bay is installed, the location and size of the cut is shown in Figure 4-1.
