Modifying the General Properties of a LUN Consistency Group

This operation enables you to view or modify basic information about a LUN consistency group.


  1. Choose Provisioning > LUN > LUN Consistency Group.
  2. Select the LUN consistency group that you want to modify and click Properties.

    The Properties of LUN Consistency Group dialog box is displayed.

  3. On the General tab, modify the general properties of the LUN consistency group.

    1. In the Name text box, enter a new name for the LUN consistency group.

      Name a LUN consistency group in accordance with the following rules:

      • The name must be unique.
      • The name can contain only letters, digits, periods (.), underscores (_), and hyphens (-).
      • The name must contain 1 to 31 characters.
    2. Optional: In the Description text box, describe the LUN consistency group.

  4. Confirm your operation.

    1. Click OK.

      The Execution Result dialog box is displayed, indicating that the operation is successful.

    2. Click Close.
