For load balancing, LUNs on a storage system should be allocated evenly to controllers. You can change the owning controllers of LUNs based on site requirements.

The new owning controller of a LUN must belong to the same controller enclosure as the original owning controller of the LUN.

  1. Choose Provisioning > LUN.
  2. Select the LUN whose owning controller you want to change and choose More > Modify Owning Controller.
